Eastern Edition, furniture that awakens new senses
Eastern Edition, led by designer Yang Tae-oh, presents motifs from Korean nature and objects in a modern aesthetic. With the theme of 'craftsmanship of martial arts', it is to break away from meaningless decorativeness and put essential beauty and authenticity into furniture. Focusing on the physical properties of various materials such as wood, stone and iron, we pursue a design that gives comfort without breaking the existing order of space. Designed to balance oriental tranquility and the weight of space, the curved chair stands out with its soft, curved armrests. Fabric is added to the ashwood to provide a cozy and comfortable seating feeling. In addition to the signature color of cream, the fabric can be changed to various colors. The ground coffee table, which boasts an overwhelming presence with a sculpture-like visual, features a variety of physical properties created by the combination of different materials. Round walnut legs heavily support the graceful, curved stones and glass tops that flow like waves. It is good to use with a low-height fabric sofa or armchair, and it is perfect for bringing a unique and artistic feeling to the space. writing | Casa Living
